Jittering CDC Plans Fresh Rally To Surpass UP’s Multitude

The main opposition Coalition for Democratic Change has planned fresh rally in Monrovia to outdo the ruling Unity party historic gathering of more than 100,000 voters across Monrovia and surrounding towns and cities on September 16, 2017.
CDC’s Vice Chairman for Operation Mulbah Morlu Monday admitted the UP rally recorded a multitude of voters but insisted it was a “false sense of gigantic crowd.”
He reassured the party’s supporters that their presidential campaign is in good health and that they will on October 6, 2017 lockdown Liberia and Monrovia simultaneously.
“It will be time to make the word to know CDC has the number,” he said.
“We are winning big in Montserrado, Grand Cape Mount, Margibi, Bong, Grand Bassa, Lofa, Nimba, Bomi and Grand Gedeh counties and parts of the country for the candidature of our leader and Standard Bearer George Weah.”
According to Morlu, party leader Senator George Weah will on October 5, address the nation by 12:00 PM at its Headquarters and will later proceed to ATS by 3pm where he will join scores of supporters to jubilate their “inevitable victory.”
Mr. Morlu said CDC’s August 19 rally was intended to lockdown Montserrado County but, October 6, 2017 shutdown Liberia to show the world that Liberians are ready to make Senator George Weah President of Liberia.
