Palm Spring Resort Sued for Selling Alcohol to Children

The Management of Palm Spring Resort has been sued at the Monrovia City Court for the alleged sale of alcoholic beverages and the resultant intoxication of two minors, Alisa S. Pussah 15 and the other only identified as Rasheeda.

City Court Judge J. Kennedy Peabody issued a writ of summons over the weekend to the resort charging that in May 2018, the defendant violated the amended section of the Penal Law, sub-section 16.6, by intentionally selling alcohol to the two minors.

Magistrate Peabody ordered the defendant to appear in court on Wednesday, June 13 at 9:00am to answer to complaint brought against them.

Mr. Mohammed Ali Pussah II, a parent and guardian of the victims, explained to the court that on Monday, May 28, 2018 around 5: 30 PM, while visiting the resort along with his children, the establishment knowingly served the minors alcohol when he left them to meet with a friend in another section of the resort.
